Coronavirus has just appeared but how is it affecting hairdressers? Is it still safe to get you hair done under the new guidelines? In this blog, we are hoping to put your mind at ease and welcome you into Serenity Loves.
So, what is Coronavirus?
Coronavirus, also know as COVID 19 is the disease caused by the new Coronavirus that emerged in China in December 2019. COVID-19 symptoms include:
Cough Fever or chills
Shortness of breath Difficulty breathing,
Muscle or body aches Sore throat
New loss of taste or smell Diarrhea
Headache Fatigue
Nausea or vomiting Congestion or runny nose
COVID-19 can be severe, and some cases have caused death. The new Coronavirus can be spread from person to person. It is diagnosed with a laboratory test.
If you do have any of these symptoms, you must cancel your appointment in salon and not attempt to come in for your appointment.
What can you do, when coming into salon to help stop the spread if Coronavirus?
When coming into salon for your appointment we do ask that you come alone. If you’re coming in for children’s cut, we do ask that they are accompanied by 1 adult. Then when you arrive at your appointment, please wait in your car till you are either called or someone come to get you.
We do ask every client that comes into the salon to wear a mask at all times. If you do not have one, we do have some behind the front desk that you can purchase. As you come In for your appointment we do ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided, and also use it just before you pay.
We do have screens put up between ever station in salon and the chair will be filled with a space in between every client. Our stylist will also be wearing visors and disposable aprons and will be dressing our clients in disposable gowns and towels. Unfortunately, we will not be offering drinks and we do ask for you not to bring your own or food as well. Card payment only when in salon, and a non-refundable deposit will be taken from you upon
booking in your appointment. Toilets are available.
