Why should you get hair extensions?
Hair extensions are a brilliant option for anyone who is looking to add length, volume and thickness. They are easy to maintain, and we recommend maintenance every 8 weeks to keep your extensions as healthy as possible.
If you don’t fancy colouring your hair, hair extensions are a great alternative as we can add different colours to add dimension to your locks. And of course we always blend your extensions with your natural hair to make them look as natural as possible.
How do hair extensions work?
There are many different types of extensions to choose from, here’s a few:
LA Weave
LA Weaves are sewn into your hair on a track of micro rings, and usually take around an hour to get fitted. They tend to last 6-8 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows and if you implement the right care and maintenance.
Tapes
Tapes are a type of extension where, well… they are put into your hair using an adhesive tab. The tapes are stuck onto your hair with a gentle medical glue, similar to things like plasters. They tend to last around 6 weeks, again depending on hair growth and maintenance.
Nanos
With nano ring extensions, your hair is threaded through a nano ring at the tip of the extension, then clamped into place. This option is often quite popular as it reduces risk of hair damage. Nanos can last up to 9 months with the right maintenance and hair care.
Microtube
Microtube extensions consist of the hair being attached with silicone microbeads or microtubes. Like nanotubes, they don’t require any heat, glue or chemicals. This means they’re less likely to cause any damage to your hair. Microtubes can also last up to around 9 months if maintained correctly!
